“My CIA Experience”

I arrived here in the Philippines last July 14.2am. I left Korea on my birthday. On the first time in CIA I felt hungry. When we arrived at Tubod Resort. we were very tired.Then we ate bananas. brownies and drank juice. After eating. we went to our room. My roommates are Lily. Christy and Clair. At first we felt awkward. We slept for a long time and started to exercise. I feel like every teacher is kind and the resort is wide.

I joined CIA camp to study English and experience Philippine culture. My first friends are my roommates. We didn’t talk until the second day because it was our first meeting. But we do many things together like listening to the class. So we were very close and friendly to each other. I think my memorable experiences are all activities every weekend.

First. we went to Zipline and SM mall. Second. we went to the City tour. We visited many places. It was a new experience to me. Third. we went for a home visit. Then. I remember the delicious food and good house. Fourth. we had water sports. Jet Ski and Banana boat were very exciting. Fifth. we did school visit. I like those activities! I can meet many students and play together.

Recently. we went to the Plantation Bay and Casa Miani. The plantation bay was very nice and interesting. I want to visit one more time there also in Casa Miani we made our visiting card. There were many boys who diverse ages. I think my favorite activities were watersports and plantation bay!

Because when we played there. it was very exciting and happy. I learned many things in CIA. First I am afraid to talk with foreigners. I would usually stutter. But now. I am familiar with speaking English to foreigners. Second. I learned a lot of words and grammar because I wrote diary every night and my man-to-man teachers fixed and corrected it. I saw many uncommon words. So I always need my dictionary. Third. I learned what a secret room is. If I come back to Korea. maybe I can’t forget the secret room. Fourth. I learned of being in a group where I developed my interpersonal skills.

I think it will help me in my school life. Also. I learned to clean our room and disobey other people. If the camp is finished I want to come again CIA English camp and communicate with teachers. Because here in CIA English camp. I can learn a lot of things. have many interesting activities. safe. the teachers are kind and nice. delicious meal. etc.

So next year. I want to join CIA Winter English Camp again. I am thankful to our teachers and students and also to every person in Tubod resort. When I come back to Korea. I will miss Philippines. Cebu and CIA. I expect something from the remaining activities like edge coaster and shopping in the SM mall. I love CIA!
