MY CIA EXPERIENCE
I arrived in the Philippines last July 13. 2013. The first day was very fun! But sometimes I miss my family and friends in Korea. On the first day. I had man-to-man class and it was very exciting. But I realized that speaking English was hard. But now. I am ok. And I told myself that learning English is fun! I decided to join CIA English Camp because I want to learn English. My mothers choose CIA English Camp. that’s why I am here. My first friend is Noh Yuna and her English name is Jenny 2. We met in Korea at the airport. And Choi Heiji and her English name is Jenny 1. she is my friend too. But she rode another airplane in different airport. So. I didn’t see her. One of my memorable experiences I had in CIA was SM Mall mission. It was my first activity. I like shopping and I bought many things. Then I had the chance to visit the Plantation Bay. At the Plantation Bay. I had a very good time with my friends! We did different activities like swimming. water sliding. archery. wall climbing and my most favorite was kayaking. And the lunch we had in Plantation Bay was very delicious! They served us many foods like. spaghetti. barbecue. rice. fried chicken. bread. soft drinks like coke. sprite. and royal and juices like orange. pineapple. and mango. I won’t forget my School and Home Visits too. From that activity. I saw what a Philippine Public School looks like. Also. I was able to visit what a common Philippine house looks like. I won’t also forget my exciting and funny experience in riding the Zip Line! It was so cool! And the most memorable experience I had in CIA English Camp was the Farewell Party. I was chosen as the host of the said activity. I was with my friend Lee Won Ik and his English name is Amir. I was very nervous and shy too. But. with the help of my friends and teachers. I was able to do my job as a host well. I also danced in the activity with my friends. I really had a great time! In CIA English Camp. I learned to sing two English songs like “I Will” and “I Have a Dream.” I also learned many vocabulary words and the rules in grammar. And most importantly. I developed my reading. writing. listening and speaking skills in English. Maybe. I will return to join CIA English Camp again. Because I want to learn English more. I will surely miss many people. especially the teachers. my friends the Korean and Filipino staff. My experiences in CIA English Camp were great! I hope to see my teachers and friends again in CIA English Camp.
