My CIA Experience
Exciting! This is my first feeling when I arrived at the airport. Because this was my first time to go to other country. When I took the plane. I was so excited. I ate dinner on airplane and it was so delicious..Happy flavor. Until that time. I was so fun but. when I landed. we were really tired. Ahw. maybe you wonder what “we” means is from Dong-Du-Cheon students. Anyway. after we landed. the first word that came out of my mouth was “WOW”. Because there are so many people. and even Korean staffs walked really slowly at the airport. I wanted to work with them instead. We took an hour to get out of the airport. And when I got in the car. I felt something strange. and also my friends. Because the car was really fast. we thought “Are there no signal”?? And yes. there was no signal when I arrived in CIA camp and it was 3:00am already. I was really tired. but my first feeling was good. I thought “maybe I can live here very well”. so when the class started. I expected to have man to man class because there was no man to man class in Korea. Here in CIA camp we have a P.E. class. we can play basketball. table tennis. board games. badminton and go over swimming class.
I worried about myself and friend-relationship but it’s not a big problem even we come closer than before. Now they are my best friends. The best thing in CIA is we go out for an activity every weekend!! We go to SM Mall. pool resort museum and etc. Fantastic! And you know. we went shopping and bought something to eat which is the best time. Isn’t it?? So. I really love SM Mall. really cool. Everybody waits for weekends and we can volunteer there. We went also to an orphanage. I felt a lot of things in there. Filipino kids are always smiling and they never complain about their situations and they study hard also. I think Philippines can become a strong country in the world. I can see their potential.
I learnt a lot of things here. Most people think we can only learn English. but no. we can also learn their culture and we make our eyes open-wide. CIA is not only for English skills improvement. We can learn lots of things which we can’t learn in Korean School or Academy. To me. CIA is a chance and I don’t want to miss this chance. CIA makes me think deeply and widely.
I’m really happy because I experience this when I’m 15 years old. Experiencing fast is so good. This makes me grow better in the future. so if I have a chance to come back again in CIA camp. I will! Teachers are so kind and friendly too and we can make our eyes open-wide. Then. there is no reasons for me not attend CIA camp again. Isn’t it?!!
