22nd CIA Special English Camp S8001 - 박소현

My CIA Experience

 

 

 

 I arrived in the Philippines last December 28. 2013 at 1 am. 

I rode the airplane for 3-4 hours. 

At first. I was very excited to meet new friends and new teachers. 

I also want to explore new places but on the other side I felt sad because I will miss my parents and I felt afraid because it is my first time to travel to another country alone for 8 weeks. 

My mother and father decided that I will join English camp. 

My parents first wanted me to study in Canada. but it is too far and it is very expensive. 

So. my parents decided that I will study in CIA because it is a famous English camp in the Philippines. 

 I want to learn English because it is very important and my father said that I am in the right age to learn English a lot. In CIA camp. my first friend was Anna. 

In Korean airport. we met each other like “Hello? I am Park SoHyun! What is your name?”. 

In that time. I noticed our personality is the same. 

So. during this winter camp. Anna and I look like sisters. 

And. I am 13 years old but my real age is 12 years old. 

So. we are same age. As a result. I felt Anna and I are very real friends. 

We did mane activities. like Plantation Bay. Zip line. edge coaster.. there are more than 6 activities. I thought Philippines is great! Also. we visited teacher Sheam’s home. school. My memorable experience is school visit because I learned Math that I never heard. 

I feel my English skills growing up! I learned different kinds of English skills. especially my speaking skills. 

It is higher than in Korea. 

So. I want to join CIA English camp again because CIA camp is very fun! And. it made my English skills grew up.
